Seeing how this blog is primarily a place for me to jot down my personal memories and my occasional rant and/or rave, I’ve never paid all too much attention to my “stats” on this website, other than visitor count. But something caught my eye the other day – my stats page shows the country of origin of my visitors as well. This, I did not know. I will say, it piqued my interest. Granted, in the age of VPNs, these “overseas” visitors could be literally in the apartment below me, not across the globe and I’d never know the difference. Nevertheless the idea of my blurbs in their 1s and 0s, traveling across the world struck me as kinda cool.
If I can’t travel the world, at least my thoughts can!
While the vast majority of (what little) traffic I see comes from the US, in the last month I’ve visitors registered from the following (in no particular order):
Canada, Belgium, Germany, Slovakia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Netherlands, Serbia, Romania, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Australia and the UAE.
If only my passport had so many stamps!
Anyhow, that’s all I’ve got today. I just noticed it and thought it was pretty cool. A warm welcome to all my international friends!!
Thanks for stopping by!
